This year, National Honor Society is getting into the spirit of giving by adopting a family to help over the holidays. Members will be donating toys to the family to provide presents for the kids. Along with toys, gift cards will be donated to the family as well.  “I think it’s great that we are helping people less fortunate. It’s always important to do, but especially during Christmastime,” said senior, Virginia Cuccurullo. NHS advisor, Estella Hernandez is also getting support from one of her English classes. “Many families in Gilbert will have presents under their trees thanks to the generosity of not only NHS students, but also students in my awesome third hour class.”
