Bergies Coffee Roast House a steamy success

Bergies Coffee Roast House, located in the historic Heritage District of Gilbert, is brewing up local interest in Gilbert residents with its eclectic feel and hometown roots.
Like most businesses in downtown, local residents own Bergies and profits from the coffee shop benefit the local economy. However, this is unique for a coffee house with big name corporations such as Starbucks serving up barista made beverages in 49 countries around the world.
Adriana Stines, a sophomore at Gilbert High School, says “Bergies is a great after school hangout. You can go there to study, grab a quick cup of coffee, or catch up with friends.” Bergies close proximity to Gilbert, and reasonable prices makes it the perfect spot for a teenage hangout.
In keeping with the local theme, Bergies showcases local artwork from artists around the valley. The artwork frames the cozy two-room shop, and is on display for all customers, and can even be purchased right off the wall.
The artwork mirrors all of the walls in the coffee shop, including the main room of the family-owned business, and the back meeting room filled with cozy furniture and a welcoming silence, which offers a break from the busy street just outside its historic walls. However, patrons can also devour a drink on the front patio of the coffee shop, framed by budding plants and small, personal tables.
Bergies menu offers that of a traditional coffee shop. The entire menu is wallet friendly and ranges from iced and hot coffee drinks, to teas, smoothies, juices, and Italian sodas. Also, different pastries and dessert are available for a sweet treat.
Bergies Coffee Roast House offers an alternative to over priced coffee chains available on every other corner throughout Gilbert with a mellow atmosphere and personal feel. Bergies is brimming with local pride and is sure to be a steaming hot hit with local teens.
