Ryan Jesse, a 2003 graduate from Gilbert High School, is now a Broadway actor, currently working in the Broadway production, Jersey Boys. He joined the touring cast of Jersey Boys January 12, 2010. Jersey Boys show is based on the lives of one of the most successful 1960’s rock ‘n’ roll groups, The Four Seasons. Ryan will be replacing Sebastian Arcelus who is currently one of the Jersey Boys for the shows scheduled in October. He will be performing in New York, NY, at the August Wilson Theater.
Jesse worked to get to that level in his acting career. “There’s a lot involved in the process of working in professional theater. It’s probably easiest to say it takes a little talent, a lot of luck, and being in the right situation at the right time and more luck.” said Jesse.
He also experienced other activities to get him to that level. “I tried to keep myself a rounded student through high school and college, while still focusing on the reaching the next step in what I knew I wanted my career to be” said Jesse. He took acting, drama, and art classes while in high school to prepare for what being a Broadway actors life is like.
